1954 Mercury Monterey

1954 Mercury Monterey Sun Valley

If you are looking for an outstanding, rare show car or a fine museum-quality vehicle, this beautiful 1954 Mercury Monterey Sun Valley is one of the finest in the World. These cars are very hard to find and only a few still exist in this condition. It left the factory with every available option for 1954. It has power brakes, power steering, power windows and power bench seat, along with the original fender skirts. Air conditioning has been added along with an Edelbrock carburetor. It comes with the shop manuals. A recent restoration makes this car run and drive as good as it looks. The original 256cid V8 engine and the Merc-O-Matic transmission have both been rebuilt. All exterior stainless has been professionally buffed and re-polished to perfection. The paint is as new and pictures cannot do this car justice. When you see this car in person, this is a truly stunning automobile. This car is stored in a climate controlled building and is only removed to attend car shows, where it has won Best Original Vehicle during 2007. The Sun Valley transparent roof panel is also new. The original is in great shape and also goes with the car along with the original carburetor and other numerous spare parts. Production date was February 25, 1954 and the car was the 7th vehicle to roll off the assembly line at the St. Louis, MO plant. Has only 285 miles since restoration. This body style is one of the most beautiful ever to come out of Detroit. This is your opportunity to own the rare Mercury with a skylight in a beautiful color.
